We would rather want these plastic bottles in our beautiful rugs instead of it ending up in the ocean. The eco-friendly polyester fibres are made from recycled plastic bottles. The rug is handwoven by skilled artisans. Due to the weaving method, the size of the rug can vary with +/- 3%. It is woven in such a way that the rug becomes durable and can last in many years. The Strielle rug is UV-treated for fade resistance. And the best part is: the textile feels as soft under your feet as regular wool!
